My Decision
So, I've thought long and hard about the events that transpired over the last few days. Since there has been no updates, I've come to the hard decision to stop posting on Deviantart. I know that deleting my art will not undo what has already been taken and I know that posting to other sites will not make my art any safer. I have decided to stop posting to Deviantart to reduce my activity and show the devs that I am not happy with this decision at all. This decision was rushed and not well thought out, and the devs have made it clear they do not want to listen to their userbase. Therefore, I do not forsee me changing my mind unless something changes. I would be lying if I said this didn't make me upset, Deviantart is where I first got serious about being an artist. I saw so many amazing artists on here and I wanted to be like that so badly. Eleven years of my artistic growth is stored on this site. So I will be leaving up an archive of my work. I will be slowly taking my art out of

What Happened Deviantart announced yesterday morning that they were rolling out their own AI image generating software called DreamUp. In the announcement, they explained what DreamUp was, talked about how artists can integrate AI generated images into their workflow, gave an official statement on Deviantart's stance on AI generated images, explained how to purchase prompts, explained how the software worked, and then announced a new badge and contest. Hey, been a while!
Hey y'all! It's been a while since I updated over here, but there's been so much going on with me that it's too much to update in a couple of tweets. First off, I graduated undergrad and decided to go for a masters degree! I have various reasons for this, but obviously the workload here is a lot heftier than it was in undergrad so it's sucking up all of my free time. Obviously all of my energy will be going to my degree first, so any time and motivation I have to draw is basically non-existent. I'm going into my final year now, which will be the most intense so you may not hear from me again for a bit! Secondly, the pandemic. It really hit me hard, harder than I really ever anticipated. On top of the isolating nature of it all, I've hit a harder burnout wall than I've ever hit before in my life. Getting almost anything done that I have no interest in is an absolute struggle and my brain has developed a concerning level of apathy. My ADHD is acting up far worse than it ever has, so

Eclipse is a little difficult to get used to, but I don't hate it. I've been forcing myself to use it for the past day to adjust and I've already started to get the hang of it (this was not the case when I tried to do this a couple of months ago, so I can tell they're improving it.) If you wanna know my dumb thoughts on Eclipse, here they are: Pros: - Really clean and finally updated site layout! I'm not embarrassed to show my page to anyone irl anymore, and DA finally caught up with websites in the 2020s - Intuitive. I got a game idea where the dragons must get to there eggs (I'll reuse "Valdo's pirates gameplay" somehow).
Can you do 5 chibis, one for each Dracquints ( wiki.en.dracca.com/characters/… ), where they would hold a egg tight? With a specific game-condition: the Egg must be in a dedicated layer, so it can be removed and replaced by another egg if needed ?
